Born in 1950 in Algiers, son of two opera artists, Daniel Auteuil is a French actor, director, singer-songwriter and director. A popular and discreet actor, who has become an essential figure in French cinema with more than a hundred films to his credit, he entered comedy through theater and appeared in films with Sautet, Téchiné and Haneke before moving on to directing. Daniel Auteuil had already tackled the song in the 1980s, with a hit. More than thirty years later, he created a surprise in 2021 by releasing his first album as an author and performer, If you had known me. After having seduced the public with a tour of more than 50 dates in France, he is giving us the pleasure of coming to Quebec to present his very latest show.
