“NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON THE POOR! » MOTHER TERESA « I HAVE A DREAM ! » MARTIN LUTHER KING “THE FEATHER IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD!” » MALALA YOUSAFZAI
After the immense success of Verdict, Agents Doubles Productions presents “Aux grand mals, Les grands speeches”, a new show which pays homage to these powerful moments of humanity, through the speeches of eminent people who marked the History.
By tackling themes as varied as freedom, the right to vote, love and peace in so many deep subjects, intense emotions, enthusiasm and oratorical flights, the famous speeches of these illustrious characters questioned humanity, changed the rules, and modified the path of men. Their messages still resonate in these texts of compassion and these words of hope which have and still give the strength to change, to forgive, to move forward.
Dorothée Berryman, Marc Béland, Naïla Louidort and Martin-David Peters will bring you back to life the memorable speeches of famous people such as Mother Teresa, Barack Obama, Simone Veil and René Lévesque.
Supported by current images, each speech is preceded by a context then leaving plenty of space for the actors.
Show duration: 1 hour 50 minutes with intermission
